Schroeder, Blake and Eilbacher are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

A two-grand slam week, a 17-strikeout outing, and a rookie on an offensive tear captured the week seven National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Div. III weekly honors. This week’s selections were chosen based on performances for games played April 1-7.

Murphy, Hilker and Baxt are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

St. John Fisher University (New York) moved into a tie with the State University of New York at Cortland with its eighth all-time National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III of the Week selection, while Oberlin College (Ohio) garnered its organization-leading fourth Rookie of the Week. An impressive pitching performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater rounded out the honorees for games played March 25-31.

Charon, Maher and Middlebrooks are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

For the first time this season, a player with a cycle was chosen for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III Hitter of the Week, while one of last week’s two nine-inning no-hitters garnered the Pitcher of the Week award. A .625 average with 11 RBI and six steals rounded out the honors for games played March 18-24 as the Rookie of the Week.

Betler, Moser and Thompson are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

III after upping his scoreless streak to 27 innings to start the 2024 season. Collins has allowed just six hits over the 27 innings. He collects National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Div. III Pitcher of the Week honors for the third time. Jones, Cassedy and Landrum are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

A five-homer week, a 16-strikeout performance over eight shutout innings, and a four-hit shutout earned the Hitter, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Week honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III Committee for games played February 26 through March 3.

Finn, Wood and Miller are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Month

Baseball season has been in full swing in the southern portion of the country for several weeks, so it is no surprise that is where the winners of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III Hitter, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Month for February play their college ball. The February honors cover all games played February 1-25. The Div III selection committee will resume the traditional weekly selections and weekly submission criteria next week.

Cootway, Fleming and Gregorio are NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week

East Texas Baptist University's Sayers Collins book-ended the 2022 season with National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III pitching honors, while the University of Minnesota Morris became the third Div. III institution to claim two awards in the same week. This week's selections were chosen based on games played May 2-8 and are the final Div. III selections for the 2022 season.

SUNY-Brockport's Kretzler, Webster's Elges and Anna Maria's Choate are Division III National Players of the Week

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has its first repeat Div. III winner of the year, as Anna Maria College’s (Massachusetts) Nick Choate is the Rookie of the Week for the second time in the last four weeks.
