DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 29th year with its 2026 weekly surveys.
The UCLA Bruins continue their dominance of the poll for the 11th consecutive week after advancing to a conference-record 24-0 start in the Big Ten and capturing 15 straight road victories. North Carolina is No. 2 for the third week in a row, while Nos. 3-5 Georgia Tech, Texas and Georgia hold down the next three top five positions.
Some of the top movers from the week 12 to week 13 polls are Arkansas from No. 19 to 16, USC from No. 20 to 17, Alabama from No. 24 to 18, Arizona State from No. 22 to 19 and Florida from receiving votes to No. 21.
Southeastern Conference (10 schools) and Atlantic Coast Conference (five teams) currently occupy 15 of the top 25 places with the Big Ten and Big 12 following with three apiece.
There have been seven conferences (six this week plus independent Oregon State) represented in the first 13 standings of 2026, and there were 10 different conferences in the 2025 NCBWA polls.

Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters and publicists of the sport. Members receive a membership card, directory, newsletter updates and official votes in the Dick Howser Trophy, Regional Players of the Year and NCBWA All-America voting. The NCBWA also sponsors Division I Players of the Week, the Stopper of the Year, and publication and writing contests.
