DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 29th year with its 2026 weekly surveys.
 
The UCLA Bruins (39-3) continue their dominance of the poll for the ninth consecutive week after having a 3-1 week, winning 14 consecutive road games and going a league-record 21-0 in Big Ten Conference clashes. North Carolina remains No. 2 this week ahead of Nos. 3-5 Georgia Tech, Texas and Oregon State, respectively. OSU moved back into the Top Five after spending two previous weeks in that poll position or higher.
 
Some of the top movers from the week 11 to week 12 polls are Auburn from No. 11 to 8, Mississippi State from No. 13 to 9, Kansas from No. 17 to 11, Southern Miss from No. 16 to 12, Oregon from No. 18 to 14, Nebraska from No. 20 to 17, USC from No. 23 to 20 and Arizona State from No. 25 to 22. Conference USA leader Jacksonville State also returns to the poll at No. 25.
 
Southeastern Conference (nine schools) and Atlantic Coast Conference (five teams) currently occupy 14 of the Top 25 places with the Big Ten and Big 12 following with a composite seven rankings.
 
There have been seven conferences (six this week plus independent Oregon State) represented in the first 12 standings of 2026, and there were 10 different conferences in the 2025 NCBWA polls.
