DALLAS (NCBWA) – The 2025 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s 25th Division I All-America first, second and third teams, announced Wednesday, sport multiple competitors in the ’25 NCAA World Series June 13-22/23, as well as the four finalists for the 2025 Dick Howser Trophy presented by The Game Headwear.
Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa Aloy, UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky, Tennessee pitching ace Liam Doyle, and Florida State shortstop Alex Lodise are the Howser Trophy finalists – all made the first or second teams.
They are joined by first team starting pitchers with a combined record of 73-12 and microscopic earned run averages and a sterling first unit outfield with a combined 109 home runs and a whopping 405 composite RBI.

Some of the other notable first team members and their ‘25 showings are Notre Dame catcher Carson Tinney (a finalist for the ’25 Buster Posey Award) with a .348 average, 17 homers and 53 RBI, Tennessee first baseman Andrew Fischer at .348/25/65, Southern Miss second baseman Nick Monistere at .323/21/72, and pitchers Tennessee’s Doyle (10-4 record, 3.29 ERA, 164 strikeouts in 95.2 innings), NCAA Division pitching wins’ leader Jake Knapp of North Carolina (14-0, 2.02 ERA, 88 strikeouts) and NCAA World Series participant Jacob Morrison of Coastal Carolina (11-0, 2.15 ERA, and 95 strikeouts in 96.1 innings of work).
