The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending April 28. Oklahoma State sophomore outfielder/RHP Carson Benge and Charleston junior first baseman Cole Mathis were named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Oregon State junior right-handed pitcher Aiden May was named National Pitcher of the Week.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released its NCAA Division II National Players of the Week awards for the week ending on April 21, 2024. William Jewell senior shortstop Alex Epp is the National Hitter of the Week and Pitt-Johnstown junior Rodney Schultz is the National Pitcher of the Week.

A nine-inning no-hitter in New England earned the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Div. III Pitcher of the Week award for games played April 15-21, while an 18 RBI week and a complete-game, two-hit shutout earned the Hitter and Rookie of the Week awards, respectively.

III Weekly Awards Committee, which announced its honors for games played April 8-14 on Wednesday. Please note there is a second honorable mention Pitcher of the Week due to a voting tie and both honorable mention selections having the same number of first-, second-, and third-place votes.

An impressive pitching performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater rounded out the honorees for games played March 25-31.

No. 6 East Texas Baptist University graduate pitcher Sayers Collins has solidified his spot as one of the top pitchers in NCAA Div. III after upping his scoreless streak to 27 innings to start the 2024 season. Collins has allowed just six hits over the 27 innings. He collects National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Div. III Pitcher of the Week honors for the third time. A seven-home run week and an 11-RBI week that helped a team climb into the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll garnered the Hitter and Rookie of the Week awards for games played March 4-10.
