LSU (32-7) tops NCBWA Division I Poll

DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 25th year with its 2023 weekly surveys.

Preseason No. 1 LSU remains on a roll and is atop the poll for the 11th consecutive time in ‘23. 

Some of the big movers from Weeks 10 to 11 of the regular-season surveys have been South Carolina from No. 7 to 3, Campbell from No. 11 to 5, Stanford from No. 10 to 7, Boston College from No. 17 to 12, Texas Tech from No. 18 to 15, DBU from No. 23 to 17, Tennessee from No. 21 to 18, West Virginia from No. 29 to 21, Oregon from N0. 25 to 22, and Duke from receiving votes to No. 23, among others. 

There have been 13 conferences (11 this week) represented in the first 11 standings of 2023, and there were 14 different conferences in the 2022 NCBWA polls.

Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters and publicists of the sport.
