Mon., April 15: The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 22nd year with its 2019 weekly surveys and this week UCLA is the unanimous No. 1 selection and remains in the top spot for the fifth-straight week. The Bruins (27-6) remain the No. 1 selection this week and are followed at No. 2 by a fellow Pac-12 member in Stanford. Rounding out the top three is Mississippi State, who jumped up two spots to join the top three this week.

NCBWA unveils new logos for 2019 season

Tue., April 16: The NCBWA released its National Player of the Week awards for the period ending April 14. Oregon junior shortstop Spencer Steer was named National Hitter of the Week, while Pacific junior right-hander Ryan Shreve and Saint Louis redshirt junior right-hander Cody Luther were named Co-National Pitchers of the Week.
