TEXAS' ROSS IS NAGURSKI NATIONAL
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DALLAS (FWAA) Texas cornerback Aaron Ross has been named the FWAA/Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week for games the week of Oct. 7..

The Bronko Nagurski TrophyRoss, a senior from Tyler, Texas, tied a school record for takeaways in a game (three, two interceptions and a fumble recovery) in the Longhorns' convincing 28-10 victory over longtime rival Oklahoma.
