For the period through Sunday, Feb. 22, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Rice guard Hailey Adams; Iowa center Ava Heiden; Notre Dame guard Hannah Hidalgo; TCU guard Olivia Miles; and South Carolina center Madina Okot. The Tamika Catchings freshman of the week is USC guard Jazzy Davidson, and the team of the week is Clemson.

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has named five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week for games of the week ending Sunday, Feb. 22.

Ethan Edwards of Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) and Mary Schleusner of Washington & Lee University (Lexington, Va.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending February 22.

Aaron Coston of SUNY Cortland (Cortland, N.Y.) and Kathleen Smith of Williams College (Williamstown, Mass.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending February 15.

For the period through Sunday, Feb. 15, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Villanova guard Jasmine Bascoe; Vanderbilt guard Mikayla Blakes; Richmond forward Maggie Doogan; UC Davis center Megan Norris; TCU guard Olivia Miles. The Tamika Catchings freshman of the week is USC guard Jazzy Davidson, and the team of the week is Maryland.

For the period through Sunday, Feb. 8, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Ohio State guard Jaloni Cambridge; South Carolina forward Joyce Edwards; Marshall guard Timaya Lewis-Eutsey; California guard Gisella Maul; andf UCLA guard Kiki Rice. The Tamika Catchings Co-National Freshmen of the Week are Kansas forward Jaliya Davis and Siena guard Francesca Schiro, and the National Team of the Week is North Carolina.

Reem Welch of Plattsburgh State University (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) and Riley Brady of Hendrix College (Conway, Ark.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending February 8.

For the period through Sunday, Feb. 1, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Montana State guard Taylee Chirrick; Iowa State center Audi Crooks; Washington guard Sayvia Sellers; Kentucky center Clara Strack; and UConn forward Sarah Strong. The Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week is USC guard Jazzy Davidson, and the National Team of the Week is George Mason.

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association is proud and excited to unveil a new monthly feature for the 2025-26 season. At the beginning of each month the association will be awarding two Oscar Robertson Player of the Month honors. One will go to a player at a high-major program, the other at a mid-major school. This will continue to spotlight big-time performers and add more attention and recognition beyond our five-man Player of the Week spotlights.

Zevi Samet of Yeshiva University (New York, N.Y.) and Madi Zancan of Regis College (Weston, Mass.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending Feb. 1.

For the period through Sunday, Jan. 25, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are N.C. State guard Zoe Brooks; Ole Miss forward Cotie McMahon; Oregon State guard Kennedie Shuler; Temple guard Tristen Taylor; Columbia guard Riley Weiss. The Tamika Catchings freshman of the week is Oklahoma guard Aaliyah Chavez, and the team of the week is Iowa.

Darren Rubin of New York University (New York, N.Y.) and Mary Schleusner of Washington & Lee University (Lexington, Va.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending January 25.

For the period through Sunday, Jan. 18, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Georgia guard Dani Carnegie; Syracuse guard Dominique Darius; Oklahoma State guard Stailee Heard; Columbia guard Nasi Simmons; Iowa forward Hannah Stuelke. The Tamika Catchings freshman of the week is Seton Hall guard Zahara Bishop and the team of the week is Louisville.

Fletcher Bigham of Sewanee University (Sewanee, Tenn.) and Emma Shinney of Endicott College (Beverly, Mass.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the period ending January 18.

Fifteen players from the Power Five basketball conferences are represented on the U.S. Basketball Writers Association’s Midseason Watch List for the Wayman Tisdale Award. The mid-January reveal is a whittling from the preseason list, which began with 25 players. An especially strong class led to a competitive mid-January voting intake from the 11-person USBWA board.
