Missouri's Giudice is Outland Trophy National Player of the Week

The Missouri Tigers controlled the trenches against rival Kansas on Saturday, grinding out two 100-yard running backs and clearing space for a 300-yard passer in their 42-31 win at Faurot Field. For his play leading the offensive line as Missouri gained 595 total yards and moved to 2-0 for a third consecutive season, guard Dominick Giudice has earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Sept. 6, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

FSU center Petitbon earns Outland Trophy National Player of the Week

Florida State spearheaded a fine start to its season Saturday with the 31-17 win over then-No. 8 Alabama, spurred by an offensive line that didn’t allow a sack for the first time in nearly two full seasons and rushed for 230 yards. At the helm of that line was redshirt senior center Luke Petitbon, who has earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Aug. 30, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

Outland Trophy celebrates 80th season, unveils preseason watch list

The Football Writers Association of America has announced the preseason watch list for the 2025 Outland Trophy, recognizing 50 returning standout interior linemen representing nine of the FBS conferences and Independents. The 2025 season will close with the award's 80th winner selected from players spread among at least 35 different programs that includes one returning FWAA All-American.
