DALLAS (FWAA) – Utah is the winner of the Cheez-It Crunch Time Play of the Week for Week 13 for quarterback Devin Dampier's one-yard touchdown run to cap a furious rally in a 51-47 win over Kansas State, as selected by the All-America Commitee of the Football Writers Association of America.

K-State extended its lead to 47-35 lead with 7:00 left in the game then and opted to try a two-point conversion, which Tao Johnson picked off and returned to the opposite end zone for two Utah points. Dampier then led two touchdown drives to complete the comeback, including a 59-yard run to set up his own go-ahead score with less than a minute remaining. Lander Barton nabbed his first interception of the season to secure the win for the Utes.
Saturday marked the first time Utah (9-2, 6-2 Big 12) has had two quarterbacks rush for multiple touchdowns in the same game, and the five combined rushing scores by Dampier (2) and Byrd Ficklin (3) are the most by a pair of signal-callers in a single game since at least the 1995 season.
The 2025 season marks the first year the FWAA has presented the award under its new name, the Cheez-It Crunch Time Play of the Week, spotlighting the single most decisive play from the weekend’s games. Each winning team receives a custom Cheez-It care package delivered to its campus.
