LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The Jacksonville Sharks
moved to the top of this week's Arena Football League Writers
Association (AFLWA) Top 8 Poll.
Jacksonville (6-1) received 11 of the 13 first-place votes,
totaling 101 points. The other two first-place votes went to the
No. 2 Spokane Shock (5-2) and No. 3 Milwaukee Iron (5-2).
Milwaukee was No. 1, but fell two places after losing 58-54
to the Orlando Predators.
There should be further shake-up in next week’s poll.
Jacksonville is at Spokane, and five other ranked teams are on
the road.
