LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The Chicago Rush is the preseason
No. 1 in the preseason Arena Football League Writers Association
Top 8 Poll as the AFL prepares to begin a new season after taking
last year off.
Voting
was split, with all 15 teams receiving votes and six clubs receiving
at least one first-place vote.
The Rush received two first-place votes and 53 points to edge
out the No. 2 Tampa Bay Storm, which had one first-place vote and
50 points. The Dallas Vigilantes actually had the most first-place
votes, with four, but was third with 49 points.
Rounding out the Top 8 were the Cleveland Gladiators, Orlando
Predators, Spokane Shock, Milwaukee Iron and Arizona Rattlers.
