LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) For the second consecutive week, a
member of the Grand Rapids Rampage is the Arena Football
League Writers Associations Player of the Week.

In an 84-59 win over Los Angeles last Sunday, Chris Martin
returned eight kicks for 249 yards and three touchdowns.
Two of Martins scoring return came in the first quarter, as
the Rampage jumped out to a 28-14 lead. His final touchdown came
from 7 yards deep in his own end zone, which put Grand Rapids
ahead 84-45.
The Rampage scored a team-record 56 points in the first half,
and have now scored 176 points in their past two games.
The AFLWA, founded at the start of the 2004 season, is a national
organization made up of media members who cover the Arena Football
League. The association will name an AFL Player of the Week each
week throughout the 2007 season. The AFLWA has presented this weekly
award since its inception during the 2004 season. Mark Anderson
of the Las Vegas Review-Journal is the AFLWA's founder and
executive director.
