AFLWA's Top 5 again stays the same
DALLAS TOPS SCHUTT SPORTS AFL TOP 12 POLL

LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – Eight teams, including the top five, kept their positions in the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll, which is voted on by members of the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA).

Schutt SportsThe Dallas Desperados (14-1) received 18 first-place votes and 249 points to remain No. 1. Dallas, which routed the New York Dragons 67-13, is at the No. 9 Colorado Crush (8-7). Colorado moved down a spot after falling 66-57 to the Chicago Rush.

The Georgia Force (13-2) received the other three first-place votes and totaled 230 points. Georgia, a 55-44 winner over the Orlando Predators, hosts the New Orleans VooDoo (5-10).

At No. 3 is the San Jose SaberCats (12-3), who are coming off a 66-26 victory over the Arizona Rattlers. San Jose visits the Las Vegas Gladiators (2-13).

No. 4 Chicago (11-4) is home against the No. 5 Kansas City Brigade (10-5), which downed the Nashville Kats 66-63.

The Los Angeles Avengers (9-6) gained a place to No. 6 thanks to a 60-42 victory over Las Vegas. Los Angeles hosts the No. 10 Utah Blaze (7-8), which held its spot after having the week off.

The Tampa Bay Storm (8-7) advanced two slots to No. 7 after beating the Grand Rapids Rampage 69-40. Tampa Bay is home against the Austin Wranglers (4-11).

Orlando (8-7), which slid two spots to No. 8, travels to the No. 11 Philadelphia Soul (7-8). Philadelphia stayed in place after defeating the Columbus Destroyers 56-53. Columbus (6-9), which stayed No. 12, plays at New York (5-10).
