AFLWA's Top 5 remains in tact
DALLAS TOPS SCHUTT SPORTS AFL TOP 12 POLL

LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The top five teams in the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll remained in place, and there was little movement throughout in the latest voting by members of the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA).

Schutt SportsThe Dallas Desperados (13-1) received 19 first-place votes and 250 points after defeating the New Orleans VooDoo 80-79. Dallas next hosts the New York Dragons (5-9).

The other two first-place votes went to the Georgia Force (12-2), which totaled 230 points following an 81-64 victory over the Austin Wranglers. Georgia is at the No. 6 Orlando Predators (8-6), who moved up two spots after beating New York 75-54.

At No. 3, the San Jose SaberCats (11-3) are coming off a 70-49 victory over the Utah Blaze. San Jose hosts the Arizona Rattlers (4-11).

The Chicago Rush (10-4), a 55-32 victor over the Grand Rapids Rampage, is at the No. 8 Colorado Crush (8-6). Colorado moved down two slots despite not playing.

The Kansas City Brigade (9-5), which defeated the Columbus Destroyers 47-34, is home against the Nashville Kats (6-8).

Even though the Los Angeles Avengers (8-6) downed Arizona 55-52, they moved down a spot to No. 7. Los Angeles hosts the Las Vegas Gladiators (2-12).

The Tampa Bay Storm (7-7) jumped two places to No. 9 thanks to a 69-59 victory over the Philadelphia Soul. Tampa Bay is at Grand Rapids (4-10).

Utah (7-8), which slid a spot to No. 10, is off.

Philadelphia (6-8), which dropped a place to No. 11, is home against Columbus (6-8), which stayed No. 12.
