Desperados, Force still set the pace atop AFLWA rankings
DALLAS TOPS SCHUTT SPORTS AFL TOP 12 POLL

LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – Little changed at the top of the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll, with the Dallas Desperados and Georgia Force continuing to hold the top two positions.

Schutt SportsDallas (12-1) received 19 first-place votes and 239 points from members of the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA). The Desperados, who defeated the Philadelphia Soul, 59-56, are home against the New Orleans VooDoo (4-9).

Georgia (11-2) took in one first-place vote and 217 points after beating the Columbus Destroyers 54-33. The Force visits the Austin Wranglers (4-9).

After being tied for No. 3, the San Jose SaberCats (10-3) now are in that position by themselves following a 59-52 victory over the Orlando Predators. San Jose is at the No. 9 Utah Blaze (7-7), which moved up three spots thanks to a 51-14 victory over the Colorado Crush.

The Chicago Rush (9-4) slid down a place to No. 4 after falling 50-47 to the Los Angeles Avengers. Chicago hosts the Grand Rapids Rampage (4-9).

The Kansas City Brigade (8-5) advanced a slot to No. 5 after downing Grand Rapids 66-53. Kansas City travels to No. 12 Columbus (6-7), who fell two spots.

Colorado (8-6), which dropped one place into a tie for No. 6, is off. Los Angeles (7-6), which gained three places to move into a tie with the Crush, is at the Arizona Rattlers (4-10).

Orlando (7-6), which slid down a place to No. 8, plays at the New York Dragons (5-8).

Philadelphia (6-7), which dropped two slots to No. 10, is at the No. 11 Tampa Bay Storm (6-7), which moved into the poll because of a 61-55 victory over New Orleans.
