In a 69-49 win at Philadelphia on Monday night, Garcia went 22-of-34
for 264 yards and eight touchdowns. He did not throw an interception,
and threw scoring passes to four different players.
The Dragons, who began the season 1-6, have won two of three
since Garcia's return. They remain in playoff contention in the
National Conference, just one win behind the current front-runners
for the fifth and sixth spots. New Orleans, Philadelphia and Tampa
Bay are all 4-6.
In Monday's game Garcia threw five touchdowns in the first half,
including the first two to Mike Horacek, totaling 56 yards. His
10-yarder to Kevin Swayne with 16 seconds remaining in the second
quarter gave New York a 48-35 halftime lead.
In three games this season, Garcia has thrown 21 touchdowns against
just three interceptions.
