LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – In a game Monday night that featured the AFL's top two receivers, it was Chicago's
Bobby Sippio who came out with the victory and with the
Arena Football League Writers Association's Player of the Week award for Week 10.

Sippio, who caught 15 passes for 159 yards and five touchdowns in the Rush's 59-48 win over Colorado, also ran back a kickoff 35 yards to set up a game-clinching field goal. He went head-to-head with Damian Harrell, who had 10 catches for 161 yards and six touchdowns.
Sippio now focuses on trying to outshine Harrell on another level, as he increased his receiving-touchdown total to 40. That keeps him on pace to shatter the Colorado star's record of 61, set last season.
The AFLWA, founded at the start of the 2004 season, is a national
organization made up of media members who cover the Arena Football
League. The association will name an AFL Player of the Week each
week throughout the 2007 season. The AFLWA has presented this weekly
award since its inception during the 2004 season. Mark Anderson
of the Las Vegas Review-Journal is the AFLWA's founder and
executive director.
