LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – Arizona's Sherdrick Bonner
was close to perfect Friday night in the Rattlers' 83-69 upset win
over Utah, and as a result, he was named the Arena Football League
Writers Association's Player of the Week for Week 8.

Bonner was 17-of-19 for 348 yards and nine touchdowns, including
six scoring passes that went for 30 yards or more.
The 14-year veteran also moved into a second-place tie with New
Orleans' Andy Kelly for career touchdown passes with 795. Bonner
will get a chance to break into the 800 Club on Saturday at New
York.
Despite the Rattlers tough season at 2-6, Bonner is having one
of his best. Midway through, he is on pace to have his second-highest
career completion percentage (.661) and most touchdown passes (98).
