Even with loss, Desperados make it eight straight weeks at No. 1
DALLAS TOPS SCHUTT SPORTS TOP 12 POLL

LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The Dallas Desperados have been so dominant this season that even a loss couldn't damage their standing in the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll.

Schutt SportsDespite a 51-48 loss to the Philadelphia Soul, Dallas (12-3) received all 20 first-place votes in balloting by members of the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA). The Desperados finish the regular season at home against the No. 4 New York Dragons (10-5). New York remained in the same place after downing the Georgia Force 47-35.

The Orlando Predators (10-5) moved up a spot to No. 2 thanks to a 63-42 victory over the Kansas City Brigade. Orlando hosts the No. 6 Austin Wranglers (9-6). Austin advanced one notch following a 57-38 victory over Grand Rapids Rampage.

Dropping one spot to No. 3 was the Colorado Crush (10-5), which lost to the San Jose SaberCats 61-56. Colorado is at home against the No. 7 Arizona Rattlers, who gained two places after blasting the Las Vegas Gladiators 75-28.

San Jose (9-6), which remained No. 5, hosts the No. 9 Columbus Destroyers (8-7). Columbus fell a spot despite defeating the Tampa Bay Storm 51-48.

Georgia (8-7), which dropped two places to No. 8, is home against Philadelphia (8-7), which moved up two slots to No. 10.

The Nashville Kats (7-8) remained No. 11 after losing to the Los Angeles Avengers 73-56. Nashville hosts No. 12 Tampa Bay (7-8), which dropped two places.
