LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The Dallas Desperados remained No.
1 in the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll for the seventh week in a row,
once again receiving all 19 first-place votes.
Dallas
(12-2) totaled 228 points in the voting by members of the Arena
Football League Writers Association (AFLWA). The Desperados, who
defeated the Arizona Rattlers 54-46, are at the No. 12 Philadelphia Soul
(7-7). Philadelphia dropped three spots after falling 65-58 to the New
York Dragons.
No. 2 Colorado (10-4) and No. 3 Orlando (9-5) switched places after
the Crush defeated the Predators 75-54. Colorado visits the No. 5 San
Jose SaberCats (8-6), and Orlando is on the road against the Kansas City
Brigade (3-11). San Jose moved up two slots thanks to a 53-36 victory
over the Los Angeles Avengers.
New York (9-5), which stayed at No. 4, is home against the No. 6
Georgia Force (8-6). Georgia gained two places after routing the Chicago
Rush 55-20.
The Austin Wranglers (8-6) dropped three spots to No. 7 following a
40-33 loss to the Columbus Destroyers. Austin is at the Grand Rapids
Rampage (5-9).
Columbus (7-7), which advanced three slots to No. 8, hosts the No. 10
Tampa Bay Storm (7-7). Tampa Bay moved up two spots after defeating
Kansas City 58-42.
Arizona (7-7), which dropped three places to No. 9, is home against
the Las Vegas Gladiators (5-9).
A 61-54 loss to Grand Rapids sent the Nashville Kats (7-7) down two
spots to No. 11. Nashville travels to Los Angeles (3-11).
