LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The Colorado Crush maintained its hold on the top spot of the Schutt Sports Top 12 Poll, receiving 12 of 18 first-place votes.

Colorado, which totaled 210 points in voting by members of the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA), defeated the Chicago Rush 49-42. The Crush (6-1) next visits the Los Angeles Avengers (2-5).

The Dallas Desperados (6-1) received the other six first-place votes and moved up a spot to No. 2 thanks to a 64-35 rout of the Tampa Bay Storm. Dallas is at the Orlando Predators, who are tied for No. 7. Orlando (4-3) fell a place following a 60-57 loss to the Arizona Rattlers.

Dropping a spot to No. 3 were the Austin Wranglers (5-2), who were beaten 59-56 by the New York Dragons. Austin hosts the Kansas City Brigade (1-6).

The Georgia Force (4-3) advanced three places to No. 4 after topping the Columbus Destroyers 68-50. Georgia visits the San Jose SaberCats (2-5).

Tampa Bay (4-3), which fell a slot to No. 5, is at home against No. 6 New York (4-3), which gained five spaces.

The Nashville Kats (4-3) tied for No. 7, dropping two spots following a 63-34 loss to the Utah Blaze. Nashville hosts No. 10 Chicago (3-4), which fell two slots.

At No. 9 was the Philadelphia Soul (4-3), which moved up a place after trouncing Kansas City 54-24. Philadelphia travels to play the Columbus Destroyers (3-4).

The Las Vegas Gladiators (3-4) gained a spot to No. 11 thanks to a 66-41 victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage. Las Vegas hosts Arizona (3-4).

Utah (3-4), which moved into the poll at No. 12, is at Grand Rapids (2-5).
