LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – Chicago Rush offensive specialist Bobby
Sippio had a big game at a big time, and for the second time in
three weeks is the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA)
Player of the Week.
He caught 10 passes for 217 yards and six touchdowns in the Rush's
84-48 victory over the Utah Blaze in a game that had American Conference
playoff implications.
Sippio helped the Rush set a club record for most points in a game.
The previous mark was 76 three years ago.
The AFLWA, founded at the start of the 2004 season, is a national organization
made up of media members who cover the Arena Football League. Mark Anderson
of the Las Vegas Review-Journal is the AFLWA's founder and executive director.
