AFLWA PLAYERS' POLL: WEEK 5

Crush offensive specialist Damian Harrell not only is popular in Colorado, but he also easily is the player many of his peers would pay to see.

Harrell received 25.9 percent of the vote of the players in a poll conducted by the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA). Respondents were asked which AFL player they would pay to see.

Interestingly, Harrell tends to get overshadowed by other players, last season making second-team All-AFL after setting career highs of 114 receptions, 1,715 yards and 43 touchdowns. He scored touchdowns on 37.7 percent of his catches, the best in the league.

This season, Harrell has 30 receptions for 407 yards with 11 touchdowns.

The next highest vote-getting was New York Dragons quarterback Aaron Garcia, who received 14.8 percent. Las Vegas Gladiators offensive specialist Marcus Nash, at 11.1 percent, was the only other player to receive more than 10 percent. However, 11.1 of the players also said they would not pay to see anyone.
