Miami is the place to go when it comes to expansion, according
to this week's players poll conducted by the Arena Football League
Writers Association (AFLWA).
The league's players were asked what their top choice was for
expansion beyond Salt Lake City, which will enter the AFL next season.
Miami received 28.1 percent of the vote.
Most of the voting was spread out, though. Washington, at 15.6
percent, was the only other city to receive more than 10 percent.
In fact, support went to 15 locales, including such places as
Mexico, Jackson (Miss.) and Gary (Ind.). Ohio even received 6.3
percent. Where in Ohio was unclear.
