AFLWA PLAYERS' POLL: WEEK 2

Though it was close, Phoenix emerged as the players' favorite city in this week's poll conducted by the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA).

Not so close was the least favorite city, with Grand Rapids easily winning – or was it losing? – that race.

As for best city, Phoenix received 19.1 percent of the vote to edge out Orlando, which had 16 percent of the support. Three other cities received more than 10 percent — Chicago (12.8), Tampa (10.6) and Philadelphia (10.6).

Grand Rapids had no challengers when it came to the city players dislike the most, taking 51.4 percent of the vote. Next was New York, which received 17.1 percent. Atlanta, at 11.4 percent, was the only other city above 10 percent.

Interestingly, Chicago proved to be a popular and unpopular destination. In addition to receiving strong support, Chicago was named on 8.6 percent of the ballots as the least-favorite city.
