Receiver/linebacker's 5th TD catch provides margin of victory
GEORGIA'S JACKSON IS
AFLWA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – A key pickup for the stretch drive, wide receiver/linebacker Chris Jackson showed why the Georgia Force wanted him and is the Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA) Player of the Week.

Jackson caught 12 passes for 173 yards with five touchdowns to lead the Force to a 63-56 victory over the Dallas Desperados. He provided the winning touchdown with a 20-yard reception with 3:04 left.

It was the kind of production the Force wanted when it made the trade with the Grand Rapids Rampage. Since then, the Force has gone 4-2, playing in the highly competitive Southern Division.

Overall, Georgia is 11-4, the league's best record.

The AFLWA, founded at the start of the 2004 season, is a national organization made up of media members who cover the Arena Football League. Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal is the AFLWA's founder and executive director. The association's website is www.aflwa.com.
