LAS VEGAS (AFLWA) – The San Jose SaberCats were the overwhelming
choice in an informal poll of Arena Football League beat writers
to beat the Arizona Rattlers and claim their second ArenaBowl title
in three years.
Six of eight writers polled by Inside the AFL said the
SaberCats would beat the Rattlers, who have lost the past two ArenaBowls.
The teams meet at 4 p.m. EDT Sunday in Phoenix.
Inside the AFL, a magazine that launches in January and
was created by the Arena Football League Writers Association, will
be at the ArenaBowl, providing week-long coverage.
