Wed., July 9: Matt D'Orazio was supposed to back up Tony Graziani, but injuries to the starter put him in the starting lineup for 11 games. He responded by throwing 72 touchdown passes to lead Philadelphia to the National Conference championship game and earn the Arena Football League Writers Association Player of the Year award.
